The 13th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme was inaugurated in Mumbai on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day on 23rd March 2022. Sh. Randeep Datta, PMG, IGP, Western Sector, CRPF, Mumbai, inaugurated the event at a formal ceremony at Mumbai University. Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Maharashtra & Goa, in coordination with Central Reserve Police Force, Western Sector, Mumbai organized the week-long Tribal Youth Exchange Programme from 22 to 28 March 2022.
Sh. Randeep Datta PMG Inspector General Police, CRPF, WS, Mumbai said "As you grow, your vision should grow wider”. He spoke about unity in diversity and quoted as how CRPF is an example in itself. He also asked the students to come ahead and join CRPF and take this message of National Integration across the country. "Even if two tribal students come forward and join the paramilitary force, I would consider my participation in this event as successful,” he said. He also spoke about the growing women’s participation in every field. "CRPF conducted cycle rallies that went from Gadchiroli to Kevadia, Gujarat in which 50% of the participants were women,” he mentioned.
Smt Ritu Datta, President, RCWA CRPF Welfare Association and Smt Indrani Yadav, Commandant, WS, HQ, Mumbai also motivated and encouraged the students through their respective speech.
More than 220 tribal youths, from Bihar and Telangana participated in the inaugural event. They also performed their state specific tribal dances during the programme. Sh. Prakash Kumar Manure, State Director, NYKS, Maharashtra & Goa, Smt. Vasanthi Kathiravan Physical Education Department, Mumbai and Sh. Yashwant Mankhedkar, Deputy Director, NYK, Mumbai & Pune were also present during the event.
13th Tribal Youth Exchange tour Programme to Indore for Tribal youth of Gadchiroli from 24/12/2021 to 30/12/2021 organized by O/O DIG OPS Gdl. CRPF in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gadchiroli. Sh. Sapan Suman, Dy. Commandant, O/O DIG OPS Gdl. CRPF remained present as Chief Guest during this event.
Civic Action Program organized by 113 Bn under supervision of Sh G.D Pandhrinath, Commandant 113 Bn during the month of May 2021 at Naxal affected villages from nearby areas of Tehsil Dhanora of Distt Gadchiroli (MH). During this program various helpful programs/ activities like motor driving training for youth, distribution of house hold utensils, mosquito nets, books for school children, installation of solar light post, Hand pump, Solar water system for people from remote locations of Naxal affected areas. During this program Sh G.D. Pandhrinath, Commandant 113 Bn motivated Students & people and emphasised on the usefulness of education in nation building. This is an Initiative from the Central Reserve Police Force to establish peace and harmony in the society. Officers and personnel of 113 Bn CRPF remained present on this event.
A Civic Action Program 09 Bn Central Reserve Police Force organized at Naxal affacted village Kamlapur, Distt Gadchiroli (MH) on 13/03/2020. During this program School items like school bags, school shoes and stationary items were distributed by 09 Bn CRPF to tribal students. Sh Ravindra Bhagat, Commandant 09 Bn motivated to students and emphasised on the usefulness of education in nation building. 09 Bn Central Reserve Police Force organized a Volleyball Tournament under Civic Action Program at SPS Repanpalli, Distt Gadchiroli (MH) on 12/03/2020. During this program Volleyball, Volleyball Net, and Sports kit distributed to all participant teams in presence of Sh Ravindra Bhagat, Commandant 09 Bn CRPF and Shri Rahul Gaikwad, SDPO Jimalgutta. Sh Ravindra Bhagat, Commandant 09 Bn motivated the youth with slogan "Khelo India" and encouraged them to being in mainstream. 09 Bn Central Reserve Police Force organized a Civic Action Program at Aheri of Distt Gadchiroli (MH) on 01/03/2020. During this program blankets distributed to needy people by 09 Bn CRPF. Sh Ravindra Bhagat, Commandant 09 Bn Briefed people about Government schemes and benefits for being in mainstream. This is an Initiative from the Central Reserve Police Force to establish peace and harmony in the society. Officers and personnel of 09 Bn CRPF remained present on this event.
A Civic action program organized by 192 Bn CRPF Gadchiroli (MH) on 20/02/2020. a hand pump installed by 192 Bn CRPF at village Sakhera in Distt Gadchiroli (MH).This hand pump facilitated drinking water facility to the residents of the village. The villagers appreciated the initiative from the CRPF.
A Civic action program organized by 37 Bn CRPF Gadchiroli(MH) on 20/02/2020. In this program various activities like Crop seeds distribution, cloths & utensils distribution and medical health camp organized for villagers. Information about various Government schemes also provided to present people. Many villagers benefited from this initiative from CRPF. Sh Sreeram Meena, Commandant 37 Bn CRPF along with officers and personnel of 37 Bn remained present during this event.
A Public Awareness Program organized by 37 Bn CRPF on 07/02/2020. During this event a medical Camp was organized at Raje Dharma Rao College, Nagepalli (MH). In this program detailed information was given to the audience about Government schemes for under-privileged tribal people especially women and students. Government Rehabilitation schemes for Maoists were also explained. Sh Shreeram Meena, Comdt 37 Bn CRPF explained in details about all Government schemes to audience. Approximately 200 forms of various schemes were distributed. A Cultural program Presented by stage artists highlighting social vices and Maoists violence. Officers and personnel of 37 Bn CRPF along with more than 300 civil people remained present on this event.
On 27/03/19, 113 Bn CRPF organized a Civic Action Programme at unit Hqr Dhanora. Cycles, Sports items, Solar lights, Utensils were distributed to local people & students. Sh N. Shiva Shankara, Comdt 113 Bn CRPF, Mr. Luiz Hails, a special guest from Brazil a scholar at IIT Chennai, other civil dignitaries and local people had attended the programme.
37 Bn CRPF organized Civic Action programme at Malampadur & Hemalkasa under PS Bhamragarh and distributed Fish Breeds, Saris, Mosquito Nets to Poor villagers and installed Hand Pump at Khandi under AOP Nargunda, Dist- Gadchiroli.
113 Bn CRPF organized a Training Programme (Prayas) of Mahua flowers & Gum collection and other forest produce under Civic Action Programme at Murumgaon, Gadchiroli on 20/02/2019. During this 28 days training programme 40 tribals of Murumgaon and its adjoining villages were trainedin techniques of gum collection and other forest products.
37 Bn, CRPF organized a special drive in unit for tribal students in regard to filling of Online Recruitment Forms for vacancies of CAPFs, distribution of stationary items to needy school students on occasion of "Tribal’s Day”, distribution of Gamchas on the occasion of "International Senior Citizen Day” and Blood Donation Camp in s/units etc.
Sh RajKumar, IPS, IGP Western Sector, CRPF, visited gadchiroli based CRPF Units from 07/02/19 to 08/02/2019. On 07/02/2019 Sh RajKumar, IPS, IGP Western Sector, CRPF inaugurated Computer Training Course at Gadchiroli for the trainees of local civilians/public as a part of Civic Action Programme year 2018-19. IGP W/S, CRPF, distributed various sports items/ Utensils/ Solar Lamps, lanterns etc. to villagers of Gadchiroli district under CAP at 113 Bn & 192 Bn.
Sh RajKumar, IPS, IGP Western Sector, CRPF, visited 9/37 Bn CRPF on 08/02/2019 and distributed lantern, Solar Lamps, Mosquito nets, blankets, Utensils etc. under Civic Action Programme for the year 2018- 19 by 9/37 Bns. Sh Sanjay Kumar, DIG (Ops) Gadchiroli, Commandants of Gadchiroli based units, officers of State Police, Civil dignitaries were also present in this programme. IGP Western Sector addressed Media and briefly informed about Govt. Policy/ Schemes for tribal people of maoists affected areas. Large number of Public gathering appreciated CRPF work in LWE area.
"Khelega Etapalli to Khilega Etapalli” sports competition organized by 191 Bn CRPF at Zilla parishad ground Etapalli from 03/02/2019 to 08/02/2019. Sh Prabhakar Tripathi, Comdt 191 Bn CRPF distributed prizes to winners. Sewing Machines, Blankets, Utensils, Mason Tools, Sport Items, School Bags also distributed to needy tribal people under CAP 2018- 19 on 08/02/2018. 191 Bn CRPF also organized cultural programme at unit Hqr on 08/02/2019.

On 31/03/18 Civic Action Programme was organized at Gadchiroli where Shri Nitin Gadkari, Cabinet Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, Shri Hansraj Ahir, Minister of State for Home Affairs and other local representative were present.
Shri Kanakratnam, IPS, ADGP, (MH), Shri RajKumar, IPS, IGP Western Sector, CRPF, Shri T. Sekar, DIG (Ops) Gadchiroli, Commandants of CRPF Units and other local Officers were also present during the function. Sewing Machine, tailoring training certificate, Mason work items and other items were distributed by the Chief Guest Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping. About 200 families beneficiaries from various interior villages of Gadchiroli were present at the function.
While speaking during the function Shri RajKumar, IPS IGP W/S informed that Rs.1,30,20,000/- was allotted to Western Sector for Civic Action Programme by MHA. Throughout the year more than 1200 families from interior Villigers of Gadchiroli were benefitted by the programme. 30 families were provided with 5 goats each, 25 families were provided with items for fishery, 100 families were provided with 10 hens each. 170 Youth were trained in Sericulture, 50 Youth were trained in CIPET Course, 200 Youth trained in Basic Computer Course, 150 Youth in driving, 250 Women were provided Tailoring and given Sewing Machine.
